I began my business in 2016 to give the community of Aurora and beyond access to one of a kind event and scenic design. What began as building something out of necessity, grew into a full-time company specializing in custom handcrafted event activations, signage, displays and larger than life artwork. Artistry isn’t just the execution and production of new Hazelton Carpentry pieces, it’s also making sure each piece will look awesome wherever it’ll be displayed. EVENT ACTIVATIONS AND LARGER THAN LIFE ARTWORK
We make your event look amazing with professional quality temporary rooms, furniture, bars, event spaces and signage, and also provide custom designed, unique artwork that can be larger than life -- making your event one that no one will ever forget. Hazelton Carpentry has collaborated with artists across the country to create visual experiences unlike any other.
SONIC TEMPLE BOOM BOX
Installed at the Sonic Temple Festival in 2019, this extra large scale boombox was custom made and included light up features, a DJ booth and seating area on the top. It was also decorated with unique artwork at the festival to give it even cooler style.
LIFE SIZE LETTERS
Pictured above are the giant scale custom designed and painted letters that were installed at Rock USA in 2019. Other festivals we have installed letters include Aftershock, Louder Than Life, Rock on the Range and more. All letters are custom designed and made to withstand the elements and crowds of a large festival.
AURORA STAR GATE
The Aurora Star Gate was a large scale, long term installation in downtown Aurora, Illinois that was the signature piece to their annual Winter Lights Festival in 2019. Including a customized paint job and lighting, this "star" helped bring a little magic to the city for 3 months!
